What BTF is doing
BTF is developing a ‘Smart ImpEx Repository’, an online and searchable HS Code-based Import-Export Documentary and Compliance Repository which will ensure access to a comprehensive list of required documents for clearance of export-import goods with the compliances and conditions concerned against the HS codes. Through this, importers-exporters, clearing and forwarding agents (C&F agents), entrepreneurs, traders, and government regulatory agencies will be benefited with improved understanding of documentary compliances to reduce procedural hassles and improve cost and time efficiency.
The Repository will be made available through an online portal which will have easy access to anyone searching for such information. The portal will also include a dedicated login for Customs officials. Selected section of the portal will be directly integrated to ASYCUDA World System.
