AHCAB Signed Memorandum Understanding (MoU) with BTF
Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh (AHCAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 9th October 2024 with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded Bangladesh Trade Facilitation Project (BTF). Michael Parr, Director of the BTF, and Sayem ul Haq, President of AHCAB, signed the MoU to formalize collaboration to champion and implement activities to accelerate the growth of the livestock and aquaculture industries and the sector's contribution to the national economy. Under the MoU, the organizations will partner to assess gaps and challenges in the regulatory environment, to advocate for science-based trade practices, and to build the capacity of the Association and the 300 plus member companies.
