BTF Supported Industry Delegates to Attend RefCold India
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Bangladesh Trade Facilitation project led a group of Bangladesh cold chain industry delegates to attend RefCold India in Kolkata 3rd to 5th October 2024. This annual exhibition is South Asia's premier event to demonstrate refrigeration and cold chain technologies. The Bangladesh delegates, from Bonton Foods Limited, Bengal Meat, and Perfect Refrigeration Engineering Solution, were hosted by the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA)'s India team, and Mr. Harshal Surange, a refrigeration engineer and cold chain expert who has been supporting the development of the sector in Bangladesh, presented an award-winning, energy efficient, innovate design and operating model deployed in India. The delegates met with leading industry suppliers, design services, and researchers to gain insight into the future of the cold chain market for Bangladesh and the world.
