DAM-BTF Organized Validation Workshop on the Market Entry Requirements of Plant and Plant Products
Department of Agricultural Marketing (DAM) and USDA-funded Bangladesh Trade Facilitation (BTF) project organized a validation workshop onthe information and structure of Market Entry Requirement for Bangladesh's plant and plant products.The objective of this workshop was to disseminate knowledge on export compliance requirement of Plant and Plant Products by highlighting the heavy potential of its production.BTF also clarified market entry requirements are based on the rules and regulations of the importing country and can be more stringent for plants and plant products due to phytosanitary and bio-security risks.
