BIDA-BTF Organized Cold Chain Investment Conference 2024
The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded Bangladesh Trade Facilitation project (BTF) jointly organized the Cold Chain Investment Conference 2024 on February 28, 2024, at Multipurpose Hall, BIDA, Dhaka.
Mr. Salman Fazlur Rahman MP, Hon'ble Adviser to the Prime Minister on Private Industry & Investment, inaugurated the day-long conference. The event was chaired by BIDA Executive Chairman (Senior Secretary) Mr. Lokman Hossain Miah.The Cold Chain Investment Conference 2024 facilitated dialogue between government officials, financial experts, and industry leaders to promote domestic and foreign investments in Temperature Control Logistics (TCL), build awareness on the importance of TCL in driving national macroeconomic benefits, highlight the Government’s interventions to facilitate investment in Cold Storage and TCL, discuss the key role of financial sector and present successful investment models.
