The 2nd Meeting of the BTF Project Advisory Council (PAC)
The 2nd Meeting of the BTF Project Advisory Council (PAC) was held today, 29 September 2022, at InterContinental, Dhaka. Respected Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh, joined the meeting as an Advisor to guide the project activities targeted towards implementing agro-trade-related TFA measures. The Senior Secretary unveiled the first-ever agro-focused Time Release Study (TRS) in Bangladesh conducted by the BTF Project at the Council meeting.
Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman, Director General, WTO Cell, Ministry of Commerce, and the convener of the Project Advisory Council, senior officials from the Economic Relations Division, National Board of Revenue, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Shipping, Ministry of Science and Technology, and representatives from the private sector, joined the PAC. Mr. Michael J. Parr, Project Director, BTF, moderated the meeting.
